Fondazione Trentina per l'Autismo

“Fondazione Trentina per l’Autismo” is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of social solidarity that works to raise awareness of autistic issues and to integrate autistic individuals into the community. Autism is a generalized disorder of the neurological development, which involves more or less serious difficulties in communication and social interaction, which lead, if not opposed, to closure and isolation and to exclusion from the social context. You can’t cure autism, but an early and constant intervention over time allows significant improvements.

“Fondazione Trentina per l’Autismo” carries out projects aimed at improving the life quality of autistic people of all ages, children, adolescents and adults, through the satisfaction of needs, the development of skills, the support for families and the training of qualified operators, who deal with this disease both within the structure itself and outside.

Thanks to the support of national and international partners and local institutions, “Fondazione Trentina per l’Autismo” has built “Casa Sebastiano” in Coredo, Predaia (TN).

“Casa Sebastiano” is the new specialized center for children and young people with Autism spectrum disorders that offers moments of relief to families and growth for children, without forgetting rehabilitation, social and health treatment. An excellent institution that becomes real thanks to the realization of something unique in Europe. “Casa Sebastiano” is a true house with large comfortable areas, coloured bedrooms where it is possible to create a familiar and calm atmosphere.
