Horizontal Cartridge Filter ORV

The cartridge dust collector ORV designed and manufactured by Tama Aernova is a dry filtration system used to purify air from suspended solid particles. The filter inlet is designed to obtain an optimal fluid distribution. The recovered material is discharged into a special bin installed under the hopper. The ORV cartridge filter is particularly suitable for the suction of dust deriving from polyester, epoxy or epoxy-polyester powder coating operations and which can form potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX).

Advantages

The cartridge dust collector ORV is available in different sizes and is able to cover the most varied air flows within the required dimensional limits. It has a large filtering surface, is particularly compact, easy to handle and transport and quick to install. The down flow of the inlet air and the cartridges installed horizontally allow a better cleaning, a longer life of the filtering elements and a lower consumption of compressed air. A further advantage deriving from the horizontal installation of the filter elements lies in the ease of replacing them, which can become even simpler and more immediate with the addition of the "bag-in bag-out" optional.

How it works

The dusty air is conveyed to the filtering cartridges passing from the outside to the inside, depositing the impurities on the external wall of the filtering elements and in the collecting hopper. A jet of compressed air, accumulated in a special tank, is injected cyclically into the cartridges, creating a violent wave of shaking able to detach and topple the particles deposited outside the cartridges.
