Modular Pocket Filter AERMIST TA

The AERMIST TA pocket filter by Tama Aernova is a dry filtration system designed for oil mist and fume separation in metalworking environments. Ideal for machine tools and automatic lines, it ensures high-efficiency filtration of both oil emulsions and whole lubricants. Its modular design allows continuous oil recovery and recycling, with drainage via a special siphon. Fully welded and sealed, it prevents leaks. It can include absolute filters for air recirculation and features a differential pressure switch and gauge to monitor filter condition and replacement timing.

Operating principle

The polluted air enters the filter through the rear wall and first passes through a vertical settling chamber, where a drop in velocity allows larger particles to separate and fall into the hopper, draining through a siphon. The air then passes from the outside to the inside of the filter pockets, where impurities are retained. Additional stages like pre-filters, activated carbon, or HEPA filters can be added for enhanced filtration, capturing even submicron particles.

The filtering section is composed of:

  • Mechanical pre-filtration by metallic pre-filter;
  • Drop separator (optional);
  • High efficiency microfibre pocket filter (95%) classification F9 (EN 779: 2002);
  • Post filtration (optional) with absolute filters H13

The basic model can be completed with a section containing the suction unit (fan) and the relative electric motor (Configuration "M")
