AR-VOL Electrostatic Filter
The AR-VOL electrostatic filter by Tama Aernova offers efficient air filtration without requiring a suction system. Ideal for industrial environments with widespread pollution, it treats the entire volume of affected areas. Equipped with tungsten wires at 10 kV, it charges airborne particles, which are then captured by electrostatic cells.
Designed for suspended installation at 3 to 5 meters height, AR-VOL units include an air inlet conveyor, suction fan with deflectors, remote control panel, and onboard red warning light. They are suitable for pollutants like welding fumes, oil mists, dust, and processing emissions. Installation height depends on pollutant type and building layout.
Strengths
If it is impossible to install filtration systems, or if there is the need to improve the efficiency of a centralised plant, the use of AR filter is essential. The filter is adequate for welding fumes, mechanical processes fumes, dusts and oil mists of various origin.
Operating principle
The electrostatic filter by Tama Aernova is equipped with tungsten wires, fed with 10 kV direct current suspended between electrodes connected to the ground, thanks to which polluted particles contained within the gaseous flow, passing through the ionising section, are charged with unipolar electricity. In the collecting section, composed by pure aluminium plates fed with 5kV current, alternated with plates connected to the ground, the particles are repelled by the plates fed to the plates connected to the ground. Those last plates have the function to “catch” the polluting particles present in the fluid. The polluting particles kept in the filter must be periodically removed with simple maintenance operations.
