THERMAL CUTTING

The use of laser, plasma and oxyfuel cutting machines during production processes entails an important dispersion of polluting particles in the air that must be absolutely controlled. The dust deriving from these processes is one of the thinnest and therefore dangerous for health in the workplace. These particles represent a risk due to their composition, concentration and the time of exposure to which the worker is subjected. If the work environment in which the machine is placed is without an adequate filtration system, all this is extremely dangerous.

Tama Aernova offers different kind of downdraft table on which it is placed the metal sheet during its production. These downdraft tables recover waste and larger metal dust in specific tanks. WELDING

Each welding method produces different amounts of fumes, containing different concentrations of dangerous substances. The fumes are generated by a thermal process that creates a group of particles suspended in the air and when it cools, the particles enter the worker's breathing zone. The particles size (0.01-1 μm) affects the toxicity of the fumes: the smallest particles are the most dangerous because they are easier to breathe deeply into the lungs. The quantity and type of welding fumes that are formed depend on welding parameters and the basic materials. Oil mist is formed during processes that use lubricating oils or hydraulic oils typically within closed machine tools. These types of substances, initially liquid, nebulize forming fine dispersions in the air. The nebulization occurs due to the increase of temperature, as a consequence of contact with hot surfaces or strong friction phenomena. If the oil present in the vapor phase then hits colder areas, a consequent tendency to condensation is created. Therefore, condensation nuclei will form in the gaseous phase, which give rise to the mists. 

The filtration of oil mists occurs mainly in two ways and TAMA AERNOVA offers products for each of these:
